Today's forecast for Maui will be warm and sunny a high of 90 degrees!      

This week I want to share with you all the featured listings that Real Estate Sales Maui has at Windermere

RESM MOBILE APP UPDATE

The latest version of the Real Estate Sales Maui iPhone App (version 1.1) was recently released in the Apple App Store.

This new updated for the iPhone app includes daily open house listings (Today's Open Houses).  The app has also been improved to accommodate the upcoming iOS7.
You can download the Real Estate Sales Maui Mobile Apps today or update your iPhone app to the newest version.  The app allows you to search for properties on Maui and neighboring islands.  You will be able to quickly review property pricing, location and detailed listing information.  In the RESM app you can scroll through photos of homes, condos, time-shares, businesses and vacant land for sale and you can use an interactive map to find your property.  You can also save your favorite properties and have one touch access to recent property searches you've made. Last Week In The News
Retail sales fell 0.6% for the week ending August 31, according to the ICSC-Goldman Sachs index. On a year-over-year basis, retailers saw sales increase 1.8%.
Manufacturing activity rose to 55.7 in August after a reading of 55.4 in July. A reading above 50 signals expansion. Non-manufacturing activity rose to 58.6 in August from 56 in July. A reading above 50 signals expansion. It was the 44th straight month of expansion in the services sector.
Total construction spending rose 0.6% to $900.8 billion in July. Compared to July 2012, construction spending has risen 5.2% on a year-over-year basis.
The Mortgage Bankers Association said its seasonally adjusted composite index of mortgage applications for the week ending August 30 rose 1.3%. Purchase volume fell 0.4%. Refinancing applications increased 2%.
The trade deficit increased from $34.5 billion in June to $39.1 billion in July. Exports fell $1.1 billion to $189.4 billion. Imports increased $3.5 billion to $228.6 billion.
Factory orders fell $12 billion, or 2.4%, in July to a seasonally adjusted $485 billion. This follows a 1.6% increase in June. Excluding the volatile transportation sector, orders increased 1.2% in July.
Initial claims for unemployment benefits for the week ending August 31 fell by 9,000 to 323,000. Continuing claims for the week ending August 24 fell by 43,000 to 2.951 million. The less volatile four-week average of claims for unemployment benefits was 328,500, the lowest point since October 2007. The unemployment rate fell to 7.3% in August, its lowest level since December 2008. Employers added 169,000 jobs in August.
Upcoming on the economic calendar are reports on wholesale trade on September 11 and retail sales on September 13.
